    This Saturday, join us for a relaxing day in the picturesque region of Ammiq, where we'll enjoy a gentle hike and plenty of opportunities to connect with nature and capture stunning photos.

    Key Highlights:
    • Ammiq Wetland: Known for being one of the most significant sites for migrating birds, Ammiq is home to Lebanon's largest wetland, complete with a birdwatching tower to observe the annual bird migrations.
    • Diverse Tree Species: Nestled between the Bekaa Valley and Lebanon's western mountain range, Ammiq is celebrated for its diverse range of tree species, making it a nature lover’s paradise.
    • Breathtaking Views: The hike will follow the edge of the mountains, offering plenty of shade provided by the trees. Hikers will be treated to panoramic views of the valley, where the wetland, fields, and mountains come together in one stunning scene. Don't forget your cameras – the views are picture-perfect!

    Hike Details:
    • Difficulty Level: Level 2 – Easy stroll through Ammiq's scenic landscapes.
    • Trail Length: Approximately 5 km, mostly flat.
    • Highlights: The wetland, birdwatching tower, and vistas of the Bekaa Valley.

    After the hike, we’ll gather at Tawlet Ammiq Restaurant to relax and enjoy a nutritious lunch made with locally sourced ingredients. The meal will feature traditional Lebanese dishes, fresh juice, fruits, and coffee.

    70 Km from Beirut - 900 meters above sea level.

    Our breakfast will be taken along the way.
