    Join us for an unforgettable adventure in Arz Jaj, where we will be staying at the enchanting Cedars House Jaj. This ultimate mountain escape offers a unique blend of cultural experiences and natural beauty, with panoramic mountain views perfect for both tourists and locals.     Arz Jaj is home to some of the oldest cedar trees, preserving remnants of the once-vast cedar forest that adorned the mountains. Centuries ago, the groves of Jaj witnessed the early felling of cedar trees, as their valuable wood was harvested for export to Egypt and later to Jerusalem.

    Friday: Arrival and Night Walk
    1:00 pm: Departure from Beirut to Arz Jaj.
    Afternoon: Settle into Cedars House Jaj and explore the area with a pleasant afternoon walk among the Cedars, culminating in a beautiful sunset.
    Dinner: Enjoy delicious Lebanese traditional dinner. We will taste a special matmoura.
    Night: Gather outside near a bonfire for stargazing and sharing stories under the night sky.

    Saturday: Hike and Cultural Exploration
    Early Morning Hike: Optional: Enjoy a beautiful sunrise from the Cedars House.
    Morning: Enjoy a homemade breakfast with local specialties like Kichik, eggs, mankouche, and dairy products prepared by locals.
    Hike:
    Level 6: Ascend towards Arz Jaj, navigating uphill through forests and ancient trees while enjoying breathtaking vistas.
    Level 3: Take a bus to Arz Jaj and immerse yourself in the picturesque setting among the ancient cedar trees, perfect for capturing memories.

    Lunch: The two groups will reconvene for a delectable homemade lunch at the charming guesthouse, near the Cedar Reserve.
    Exploration: Visit the birthplace of Blessed Brother Estephan Nehme in Lehfed. Beatified on June 27, 2010, Brother Estephan's upbringing place offers a poignant glimpse into his life.
    Afternoon: Say goodbye to this beautiful place and return to Beirut with beautiful memories.

    PRICE:
    - For overnight $ 130 per person including transport, guides, insurance, dinner, bed and breakfast, hike, and lunch.

    DO NOT FORGET TO:
    • Get your own light snack that will boost your stamina and keep you energetic.
    • Equip yourself with your own water bottles a cap and sunscreen.
    • Distancing from each other is a must, offering or sharing snacks are not encouraged. Keep a windproof jacket in your backpack.

    WHAT TO GET: Usual overnight stuff, light snacks that will boost up your energy such as dried fruits, water, cap, sunglasses and sunscreen. Wear comfortable shoes such as hiking shoes and always keep a windproof jacket in your backpack

    SPECIAL RATES:
    - Children with the age of 10 and younger will have a discount of 25$
    - Children/ Teenagers between the age of 11 and 18 will have a discount of 20$
    - University students will have a discount of 15$ provided that they present their university card
    - Groups with 5 to 9 persons, with different criteria than the above, will get a 2$ discount.
    - Groups with 10 or more persons, with different criteria than the above, will get a 3$ discount.

    PAYMENT TERMS:
    - Cancellation within 3 days’ notice or less will be charged half-price.
    - Reservations within 3 days’ notice or less will be charged an extra 10$.
    (eg. Cancelling or booking for an overnight’s event on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday will be subject to the above terms)

    ESSENTIAL ECOTOURISTIC RULES & REGULATIONS
    - Smoking is strictly prohibited during the event
    - Always follow the guide on the designated trail
    - Do not go off road without notifying the guide
    - Do not get close to a cliff especially when the guide in charge tells you not to do so
    - Although accidents are covered by the insurance but they remain under the responsibility of the member
    - Sometimes, due to reasons beyond our control, slight modifications to the program may occur. Ecotourism rules must be followed, otherwise personal accidents will not be accounted for by the insurance.
