  • Daroun – Saydet Bchouche Hike

    This time, our journey takes us to Daroun, where we'll explore a beautiful new trail, expertly prepared by the Lebanese Army Airborne Regiment. Their efforts in preserving the environment are truly commendable.

    Trail Highlights:
    • Trail Difficulty: Moderate to easy (Level 4)
    • Starting Point: Daroun, leading to Aintoura.
    • Scenic Views: Oak and pine forests, a tranquil stream, and breathtaking valley vistas all the way to the sea.
    • Route: After Aintoura, we ascend towards Bkerki, passing the ancient Saydet Bchouche church and Patriarchal Palace. We’ll take a short pause before continuing on the Airborne Regiment Trail.
    • Historic Sites: Visit Beit Sabbagh, an ancient residence surrounded by traditional Lebanese houses.
    • Distance: 8.2 km, with both uphill and downhill sections.
    • Natural Beauty: Enjoy numerous water streams and stunning landscapes along the trail.

    After the hike, we'll relax and enjoy a well-deserved lunch at a charming local restaurant.

    WHERE: Daroun – Bkerke - In the region of Keserwan
    550 m above sea level - 27 Km from Beirut

    WHEN: Friday. April 18

    Our breakfast will be taken along the way.

    PRICE: $60 per person, including transport, guides, insurance and lunch.
