    Lebanon is one of the world’s oldest wine-producing regions, with a history dating back to the Phoenicians who spread wine throughout the Mediterranean. Despite regional conflicts, Lebanon’s wine industry produces about 600,000 cases annually, with over 50 wineries today, a significant growth from just 5 wineries in 1998.

    Wine Tour Highlights:
    • Chateau Khoury:
    o Located on the eastern foothills of Mount Lebanon (1200-1300m), offering breathtaking views.
    o The winery began vinification in 2004 and, despite being relatively new, has already produced promising wines.

    • Ksara:
    o The oldest winery in Lebanon, founded in 1857, named after a Crusader-era fortress (ksar).
    o Features natural caves and a 2 km underground network used as wine cellars, creating a unique environment for aging wine.
    o Tour includes a documentary, a visit to the caves, and a wine tasting experience.

    • Domaine des Tourelles:
    o Founded in 1868 by François-Eugène Brun, it is the second oldest winery in Lebanon.
    o Renowned for its historical yellow stone and cedar wood cellars, steeped in family legacy.
    o Multiple international awards, with a tasting of their exceptional wines.

    Lunch: Conclude the tour at Domaine de Chouchene, a charming local restaurant offering a selection of traditional Lebanese dishes, providing the perfect ending to an enriching experience.
