    Support Campaign: SANAD Hospice Lebanon

    This year, immerse yourself in the holiday spirit in Batroun, known as the "Capitale de Noël" for the fourth consecutive year! Join us for a festive Christmas celebration, while supporting the SANAD Hospice Lebanese Association.

    Today, and for the past 15 years, SANAD’s mission is to provide comprehensive, free of charge, home‐based hospice care to advanced chronically and terminally ill patients while preserving their dignity and enhancing the quality of their remaining life. SANAD aims to assist patients in remaining as alert, functional and comfortable as possible within the calm and sanctuary of their own home, surrounded by family and loved ones.

    What’s in store for our event?

    -Discover Batroun’s History & Charm:
    Stroll through the vibrant old souk, marvel at the iconic Phoenician Wall, explore the majestic Fortress of Batroun, and visit the historic Saint Stephen Church.

    -A Taste of Tradition:
    Savor Batroun's famous lemonade, and don’t miss a visit to the Lemonade Museum.

    -Dive into Coastal Beauty:
    Enjoy views of the stunning coastline, including the picturesque Batroun Beach.

    -Wine Tasting:
    We will stop at a Batroun winery to taste various kinds of delicious local wines.

    -Festive Fun at the Christmas Market:
    Immerse yourself in the holiday ambiance with beautiful decorations and a magical atmosphere. Batroun becomes a winter wonderland during the holiday season, with streets and buildings adorned with Christmas lights, decorations, and festive displays.

    -End with a Local Culinary Stop:
    Before heading back to Beirut, we’ll stop to enjoy some local food. Feel free to choose whatever you’d like to eat.

    PRICE: $45 per person including transport, guides, insurance, tour and wine tasting.

    WHAT TO GET: Light snacks that will boost up your energy such as dried fruits, water, cap, sunglasses and sunscreen.

    SPECIAL RATES:
    - Children with the age of 10 and younger will have a discount of $5.
    - Children/ Teenagers between the age of 11 and 18 will have a discount of $4.
    - University students will have a discount of $3 provided that they present their university card.
    - Groups with 5 to 9 persons, with different criteria than the above, will get a $2 discount.
    - Groups with 10 or more persons, with different criteria than the above, will get a $3 discount.

    PAYMENT TERMS:
    - Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged half-price
    - Reservations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged an extra $2.
    (e.g. Cancelling or booking for a Sunday’s event on Saturday will be subject to the above terms)

    ESSENTIAL ECOTOURISTIC RULES & REGULATIONS
    - Smoking is strictly prohibited during the event
    - Always follow the guide on the designated trail
    - Do not go off road without notifying the guide
    - Do not get close to a cliff especially when the guide in charge tells you not to do so
    - Although accidents are covered by the insurance but they remain under the responsibility of the member
    - Sometimes, due to reasons beyond our control, slight modifications to the program may occur. Ecotourism rules must be followed, otherwise personal accidents will not be accounted for by the insurance.
